I Have Been Giving Islam a Short Shrift

Recently, I read Man in the Red Underpants, which is specifically aimed at converting atheists to Islam, although the arguments are so persuasive that it should have its effect on any reasoning person.

Before you even start reading, it asks several pertinent questions about the man like “What does he want and why are his pants red and not pink?”. I eagerly read through the entire book, not wanting to quit until I had answered this important question. I had been sandbagged. It was never answered and I had to speculate. It could have been because the man was a raging communist and not a wussy socialist. More likely though was that the man was in an Islamic country and didn’t want to be stoned to death.

After reading it, I realized that to spread the gospel, I needed to fulfill my obligation of Da’wah. I am looking for any former atheists who have converted to Islam to find out why they converted so that I can use this as a tactic to bring unsuspecting non-believers into the fold.

Please answer by telling me the key reasons for your conversion. Failing that, just tell me why you have been ignoring Islam and the one True faith.

  1. Thanks for reading the book. The question was answered in the first few lines of page.

What does he want and why are his pants red and not pink? Did he really get his red underpants from Agent Provacateur and what does he want anyway?

None of these questions are dealt with in this book! Rather this book asks you to think about how you would deal with the man in the red underpants. It will take you on a journey in which you will encounter some startling conclusions. If you believe in unbelievable things without proof, then put this book down now, and if you think that you’re a thinker, think again!
